Most Grand Forks City Offices Closed on Thanksgiving

(KNOX) – Most Grand Forks city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, for Thanksgiving. Regular City business will not be conducted on that day.

However, emergency police and fire services will continue to operate as scheduled in the City of Grand Forks.

City services such as refuse collection will not take place on Thanksgiving. Regular Thursday pickup for the “A” route will take place on Tuesday, November 26th, and Thursday’s “B” route pickup will be on Wednesday, November 27th, along with regular scheduled routes.

Recycling pick-up for Thanksgiving customers will be rescheduled to Friday, November 29th, and Friday’s recycling will be picked up on Saturday, November 30.

The Cities Area Transit, including City Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride will not run on Thanksgiving and will resume regular schedules and routes on Friday, November 29th.

Grand Forks City offices will re-open for business on Friday, November 29th.
