Professional Bull Rider’s Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Returns to Grand Forks

(KNOX) – For the fifth time in tour history, the PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour will buck into Grand Forks at Alerus Center for PBR Grand Forks on April 11 and April 12, 2025.

For two nights only, some of the best bull riders in the world will duel with some of the rankest bovine competitors bred to buck in a must-see showdown that is only coming to town once in 2025. Tickets for the event became available on Ticketmaster on Monday, November 18, and start at $15, taxes and fees not included. They can also be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, PBR.com, or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727. Tickets are also available at the Transystems Box Office at the Alerus Center.

In 2024, Grayson Cole (New Ringgold, Pennsylvania) went a perfect 2-for-2 to take home the event buckle. After hanging onto Tough Company (Richardson Land & Cattle) for 81.5 points in the opening round, Cole rocketed out of the chutes aboard Ram Rod (Double S Bull Co./Cervi) for 87 points to win both the final round and event title.

The Grand Forks Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour stop is the 29th event of the season. In 2024, the Velocity Tour hosted more than 356,000 fans, setting 16 event attendance records, while selling out 20 event days. The bull riding action for 2025 PBR Grand Forks begins at 8:00 p.m. CT on Friday, April 11, and 7:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 12 at Alerus Center.

“We are excited to welcome PBR and its fans back to the Alerus Center for the fifth time,” says Alerus Center General Manager Anna Rosburg. “We can’t wait for these two nights of adrenaline-filled bull riding action.”

Forty (40) bull riders will get on one bull in Round 1. Round 2 on Saturday evening will feature the Top 36 riders from Round 1; the riders’ individual two-round scores will then be totaled, with the Top 10 advancing to the championship round for one more out and a chance at the event title.

PBR VIP Elite Seats are available starting at $14 for avid fans who want an exclusive VIP experience while enjoying some of the world’s best bull riders. These tickets offer the best seats in the venue, a pre-show photo experience on the dirt, a commemorative VIP wristband, and a personal on-site concierge at the PBRewards Booth on the concourse. For those fans who don’t want to miss a second of the action, two-day combo package tickets are available for a 15% discount off select ticket prices.
