
(KNOX) -The Grand Forks Fire Department responded to 5600 S Washington St for a gas leak Saturday.
The gas line was struck by a contractor working in the area.
The Grand Forks Fire Department worked in conjunction with Grand Forks Police, Altru Ambulance, and Xcel Energy to mitigate the gas leak, in the area of 5600 S Washington St.
Traffic in the area reopened open to normal conditions after the crews were finished with their work.
The Grand Forks Fire Department would like to remind the public to report any natural gas leaks by calling 911.
