(KNOX) – What’s called “The greatest two minutes in competitive robotics” is going on inside the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.
250 teams are competing in the V5RC Challenge High Stakes for highly skilled and talented VEX Robotics teams. The student competitors dedicate hundreds of hours engineering and refining their robot designs in preparation for this event.
The competition lasts through Saturday and admission is free.
Elimination rounds begin at 3 p.m. Saturday with the final match scheduled for 4 p.m.
The robot-smashing mayhem is brought to the Alerus Center by the UND College of Engineering and Mines… and Bifrost Manufacturing.
