(KNOX) – Does 1,762 pounds sound pretty big for a pumpkin? How about the Great Pumpkin? The Grand Pumpkin?
The ninth annual “Pumpkins for Parkinson’s” is displaying giant gourds until 4 p.m. at the Y at the intersection of University Avenue and North Seventh Street in Grand Forks.
The program accepts donations for the Y’s Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery and Rock Steady Boxing programs.
The noon hour featured a pumpkin dessert contest where samplers could vote for Best Tasting and Best Presentation.
