Absentee voting begins September 20

(KNOX) – General Election that will take place on Tuesday, November 5th. All polling places will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There are different ways to request an absentee ballot at East Grand Forks City Hall:
o Monday through Friday between 8am-5pm starting September 20th through November 4th
o Saturday, October 26th from 9 a.m. to 3.p.m.
o Tuesday, October 29th from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
o Saturday, November 2nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
o Sunday, November 3rd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
o Monday, November 4th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Voters can also request an absentee ballot by completing the absentee application on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website, mnvotes.org, clicking on Other Ways to Vote, and complete the absentee application. Polk County would mail out a ballot once the application was received from the State.

Voters can also stop by the Polk County Taxpayer Service Center located at 612 North Broadway, Room 225, to complete an absentee application and receive a ballot.
