(KNOX) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) will be starting a traffic signal replacement project at the intersection of Demers Ave and 4th Street NW on August 30.

The older traffic signals will be replaced to increase intersection safety and vehicle movements through the intersection.  The project will be completed under traffic with flaggers guiding motorists through the single-lane construction zone.  Truck traffic is encouraged to use an alternate route.  This work is expected to be completed late in September.
