(KNOX) -Grand Forks Police responded to an armed robbery late Tuesday morning…this one behind a business at 1321 South Washington.
The victim and witnesses stated they observed a male subject stealing an electric RAD scooter. The scooter was padlocked to a pole on the building and the suspect used a bolt cutter to cut the lock.
A male opened the back door of the business and yelled at the suspect. The suspect then raised the bolt in the air as a weapon and appeared as though he was going to strike the victim with it if he got any closer.
The male got onto the scooter and took off and was last seen heading south.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-30’s. He was wearing grey shorts, a white tank top, white tennis shoes and had black headphones on. He also has a tattoo on his right arm and possibly his left arm.
