(KNOX) – It’s the second day of the grand opening for Les Schwab Tires, located on the first left turn off Interstate 29 in Grand Forks.
The ribbon was cut Friday at 3770 32nd Avenue South. Manager Jacob Marine said the turnout wasn’t too bad, with customers having tires changed and touring Les Schwab Tires. He says the business has a 70-year history of community support.
“It’s a staple of Les Schwab,” Marine says. “We put a lot of dollars and volunteer time back into the community.”
Red River High School is offering to wash cars on the lot for donations.
Les Schwab Tires opened in the location July 17, handling tires, brakes, alignments, steering, suspensions and batteries.
