(KNOX) – The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed a resolution condemning the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
The resolution was co-sponsored by U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer to honor the victims, call on all people of the United States to unite in the face of violence, and to stand in solidarity with those who were injured or killed.
Cramer called the attempt vile and senseless.
He said, “Our resolution is a testament to our hope and resilience, and an unyielding call for the nation to reject violence, stand together, and uphold our shared American values.”
