(KNOX) – Grand Forks International Airport reported 6,845 passengers boarded flights during June… 400 less than in June 2023.
It’s an exception to what the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission calls “robust air travel.”
During the first six months of 2024, North Dakota’s eight commercial airports saw more than 593-thousand boardings, up eight percent from the six-month mark of 2023.
North Dakota airports has their busiest June on record with more than 102-thousand passengers for the month. Fargo’s Hector Airport and the Devils Lake Airport once again set monthly records.
GFK is applying for a Small Community Air Service Grant. If the application is accepted by the USDOT, Sky West could begin daily air service to Denver.
