An exchange of meth for guns sends Jamestown woman to jail

(KNOX) – A Jamestown woman will spend 100 months in prison plus three years supervised probation for firearm trafficking and felon in possession of firearms.
April Bergman was sentenced Wednesday by Chief Judge Peter Welte.
This case began with the burglary and theft of 35 firearms from a Federal Firearms Licensed business in Jamestown. Three of the firearms stolen in that burglary ended up in the possession of April Bergman when she engaged in trading methamphetamine for the firearms.
