(North Dakota Monitor) – North Dakota Democratic candidates running for federal office say President Joe Biden should withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.
House candidate Trygve Hammer told North Dakota Monitor, “It’s clear we have a leadership crisis in this country. I swore to support and defend the Constitution, not any particular party member or person.”
U.S. Senate candidate Katrina Christiansen says Biden is failing to show an ability to beat Donald Trump.
The comments came before what the Secret Service is calling an assassination attempt on Trump Saturday in Pennsylvania.
The Republican National Convention is scheduled to begin Monday in Milwaukee.
