
(KNOX) -The Grand Forks Landfill is staying open until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The extended hours are to allow Grand Forks residents to utilize their four free drop-offs they receive every year.
The extended hours on Wednesday’s are for Grand Forks residents only. Residents must show identification to prove they are Grand Forks residents.
There will be no commercial dumping at the landfill during these extended Wednesday’s hours.
The Grand Forks landfill is located at 2701 N. 69th St. One mile north of Highway 2.
Landfill hours
Monday 8 am – 4 pm
Tuesday 8 am – 4 pm
Wednesday 8 am – 6 pm
Thursday 8 am – 4 pm
Friday 8 am – 4 pm
Saturday 8 am – 11 am
Sunday Closed
