(KNOX) – Drivers on Interstate 94 saw the eastbound lanes blocked this morning by a cement truck that tipped over.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the Kenworth cement truck drove over a soft asphalt patch, which caused the vehicle to lose control and overturn, spreading debris into both travel lanes.
The driver of the truck, 49-year-old Corey Cook of West Fargo, was evaluated on scene by Sanford Ambulance. He was wearing his seat belt and sustained minor injuries.
Traffic was slowed to one lane for about two hours while the scene was cleared and the vehicle recovered.
