(KNOX) – A Grand Forks man is in the Grand Forks County Corrections Center for aggravated assault, resisting arrest and possession of meth.
Mark Boyer was taken into custody after officers were dispatched to the 600 block of North Fifth Street for a domestic assault.
The victim was outside with some noticeable injury to her face. She was transported to Altru.
Boyer would not come out to talk to the officers. He went to another room and refused to come out.
An officer delivered pepper spray into the room that Mark was in.
The officers were then able to take Mark into custody. Mark resisted the officers as they walked with him to the police vehicle.
This case is still open, pending more investigation.
