(KNOX) – Unofficial results of contested races in Grand Forks County from the June Primary include;
In Grand Forks Ward 3 Tricia Berg besting Marie Stewart by 99 votes.
In Grand Forks Ward 5 Michael Fri-dolfs topped Jodi Carlson by 54 votes
The top vote getters for the Grand Forks County Commission race in November were Terry Bjerke, Cynthia Pic, Ron Barta and Dave Engen;
For State Senate District 42 Republican… Claire Cory topped Dustin McNally…
For State Representative District 43 Republican… two names advance—Doug Osowski and Emily O’Brien…
The top four vote earners for Grand Forks School Board are newcomer Jay Kle-ven, Dr. Eric Lunn, Amber Flynn, and Jeff Manley.
7,692 ballots were cast in Grand Forks County.

Lt. Governor Tammy Miller conceded the Republican gubernatorial primary to Congressman Kelly Armstrong Tuesday night.

Armstrong and Michelle Strinden will face Democrats Merrill Piepkorn and Patrick Hart in November.

Despite erroneous texts that said she dropped out of the race on Election Day…Julie Fedorchak is Republican candidate for the U.S. House. Fedorchak will take on Democrat Trig-vee Hammer in November.

Incumbent Kirsten Baesler will face off in November against Jason Heitkamp for Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The North Dakota the Congressional Age Limit Measure received approval from 60 percent of the votes cast.

The City of Mayville passed a 5-mill increase to benefit Mayville Public Library by a 3-1 margin. Joanna Nielson is the new mayor of Portland.

All results are unofficial will be canvassed later this month.

The Secretary of State’s office reported 20 percent voter turnout across the state. The unofficial statewide results will be canvassed June 26.
