(KNOX) – Safe Kids Grand Forks and the United Way had a goal to collect 100 pounds of unused or expired medications during a Medication Take Back event Tuesday morning on South Columbia Road.
That goal was reached and surpassed.
Safe Kids Grand Forks reports 101 vehicles stopped… and 151.3 pounds of over-the-counter or prescription pills, creams, patches, inhalers, liquids and pet meds were collected to be properly disposed of.
