(KNOX) – A six-year-old girl has died from her injuries suffered in a vehicle collision Monday night at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Road outside Grand Forks.
Travis Bell of Fordville, North Dakota, was arrested for criminal vehicular injury… with upgraded charges pending.
The Highway Patrol says the girl was one of two people inside a Ford Focus that was sitting at a red light when it was rear ended by a Ram driven by Bell that reportedly did not slow down as it approached the intersection.
Bell reportedly had a blood alcohol level above point one two.
Nicole Louthain of Grand Forks Air Force Base is being treated for serious injuries at Altru Hospital.
