(KNOX) – Grand Forks International Airport was the only one of North Dakota’s eight major airports to report a decrease in monthly passenger boardings.
The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission says 7,090 passengers boarded flights during April at GFK… an eight percent decrease from April 2023. That contrasts with an eight percent increase in statewide boarding numbers… which totaled 94,112.
Fargo’s Hector International Airport achieved a new monthly passenger record with 41,466 boardings.
The Devils Lake Airport also achieved a new monthly passenger record with 635 boardings.
The Jamestown Regional Airport will be closed through June 16 to complete work on the primary runway.
