(KNOX) – A search warrant executed in Florence South Dakota turned up illegal guns and homemade bombs.
Codington County Sheriff’s deputies found homemade explosive devices and evidence of a possible explosive manufacturing operation.
They called in the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
Some homes in the area were temporarily evacuated as a precaution and the explosive devices were disposed of by federal authorities.
The residents of the home, 39-year-old Christopher Gamble and 28-year-old Katelyn Gamble, face multiple charges related to explosives, guns, drugs, and the abuse or neglect of a child.
Another man, 41-year-old John Felice of Florence, faces multiple weapons charges.
