UMC will hold commencement May 4

(KNOX) – The University of Minnesota Crookston will celebrate its 57th graduating class with a commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. May 4, in Lysaker Gymnasium.
This year’s keynote speaker is Julie Borlaug, a leader in the field of agricultural innovation and sustainability with a profound legacy rooted in the work of her grandfather. Dr. Norman Borlaug was a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for his impact on food production particularly in Asia and Latin America.
Commencement exercises at U of M Crookston will include a reception for graduating students and their families, plus a special gathering for online students before the Commencement ceremony.

Ceremonies for the University of North Dakota School of Law and School of Medicine & Health Sciences will be at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4 in the Chester Fritz Auditorium.
Graduate and undergraduate degree ceremonies will be at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday May 11 inside the Alerus Center.
