The North Dakota Patrol has released the name of a 47 year old Grand Forks man who suffered serious injuries in a semi crash on Highway 2 east of Petersburg on Thursday.
According to the NDHP Chad Ramstad was heading west when the trailer combination entered the median and tipped on its side. The accident occurred around 11:45 p.m.
Authorities say when the semi came to rest the cargo exited the trailer and entered the cab. Ramstad was transported to Altru Hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
