(KNOX) – The East Grand Forks School Board followed through Monday night with position and program cuts.
Superintendent Bryan Hackbarth said District 595 cut three paraprofessionals… two social workers… an assistant principal… a counselor… a preschool teacher… a full-time and part-time food service worker… and all seasonal summer maintenance workers.
Hackbarth told KNOX that the district is trimming its athletic budget by five percent.
Hackbarth says the cuts are effective at the end of the fiscal year… June 30.
