
An early morning fire (Sunday) damaged a Fargo apartment building. The Fargo Fire Department responded to the blaze around 2:00 a.m. Bystanders reported the fire on a balcony and in a unit.
When fire crews arrived on scene they encountered heavy flames and smoke. Crews immediately pulled a hose line and knocked down the exterior fire. Additional units extinguished the interior fire located in an apartment and attic space.
Damage was estimated at around $200,000 dollars. Residents from three separate apartment units will be displaced for an extended time due to the damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
