Another candidate has surfaced for the Ward 3 council race in Grand Forks. Tricia Berg has announced plans to make a run for the office. Berg holds dual degrees from the University of North Dakota.
Berg has been active with such organizations as United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Area Board of Directors and the Advisory Committee of the Women’s Fund. She has also spent time on the Board of Directors at Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals.
In a prepared statement Berg says “As a dedicated community leader in Grand Forks, my experience working with diverse populations has given me a deep understanding of the complexities facing our community.”
The deadline for candidates to file is April 8th.
