Powerball to award $100,000 prize for winning ticket in Bismarck

(KNOX) – It was no April Fool’s joke…as someone hit North Dakota Powerball big with a six-figure win in Monday night’s draw!
A $100,000 Powerball with Power Play ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball. The winning numbers were 19, 24, 40, 42, 56, and the Powerball was 23. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
The lucky ticket was sold at Family Fare Supermarket in Bismarck. The prize was $50,000, but as the player had also purchased the Power Play option, the ticket is worth $100,000.
Family Fare Supermarket will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket.
The holder of the winning ticket must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.
