(KNOX) – After leading the Mayville State University Lady Comets to the NAIA Round of 16, Coach Dennis Hutter will join the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks as an assistant coach.
Hutter compiled 314 wins in 19 years at Mayville State, where he was also assistant athletic director.
Hutter and the Lady Comets set a program record with 26 wins and were a perfect 12-0 on their home court.
Mayville State earned a share of the regular season title with an 11-1 league mark and won the NSAA Tournament over Dakota State, 61-59, to claim an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
