A Cooperstown (ND) man is jailed in Stutsman County on a charge of sexual assault….luring by computer…and terrorizing.
Magregr Obregon made an initial appearance in court on Thursday. The Griggs County Sheriff’s Department says Obregon was arrested Wednesday. The North Dakota BCI assisted in the investigation.
Court documents say that Obregon, from Cooperstown, sexually abused and threatened to kill a teenage girl. He forced her to perform sex acts, sexually assaulted her for months, and asked her for nude photos.
In a related development authorities have charged an employee of the Stutsman County State’s Attorney’s office with disclosure of confidential information concerning the case. Jessica Dishong is accused of sending information to the defendant hindering the law enforcement investigation.
