Congressional candidate age limit measure will be on June 11 Primary ballot

(KNOX) –

A measure that would not allow North Dakota’s U.S. Senator or Representative to be 81 years old upon election or appointment…will be on the June 11 ballot in North Dakota.

Secretary of State Michael Howe has reviewed petitions by proponents to initiate a constitutional measure on the ballot related to congressional candidate age limits.

A total of 32,370 signatures were accepted, which qualifies the initiated measure the June 11 Primary Election ballot.

The constitutional measure related to congressional candidate age limits will be assigned as Measure 1 according to the provisions of the North Dakota Century Code.
