...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 6 PM CST TUESDAY... Heavy snow continues to create dangerous travel conditions in the region. Expect near whiteout visibilities within the heaviest snowfall in addition to slick travel conditions. The NDDOT has issued a No Travel Advisory for the Red River Valley.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises no travel on highways in northwestern Minnesota due to heavy snow and limited visibility. The no travel advisory includes the following roads:
- Highway 1- Thief River Falls to North Dakota
- Highway 2- Crookston to North Dakota
- Highway 9- Crookston to Ada
- Highway 11- Karlstad to North Dakota
- Hwy 75- Perley to Canada
- Highway 200- Ada to North Dakota
- Highway 220- Crookston to Highway 11
UND will be closed until 10:00 p.m. tonight (Tuesday)
All Grand Forks Public and Grand Forks Air Force Base Schools are canceled for TODAY, Feb 27 2024. This cancellation includes Head Start and Early Childhood Special Education classes and all before-school activities.
