A Fargo man has been arrested for making and selling fake I-d’s to minors.
Fargo police launched the investigation back in September in response to reports of a potential counterfeiting operation on the city’s north side. Through the course of the investigation it was determined that 19 year old Blaise Bitz sold over 500 fake I-d cards resulting in a profit of $40,000 dollars.
A search of his home last week resulted in the seizure of additional bogus identification cards. Bitz faces Felony Counterfeiting and Felony Illegal Control of an Enterprise.
