North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is backing his pick for Lt-Governor to take over his job when he leaves office.
Burgum has endorsed Tammy Miller for Governor saying she is the best person to take on the role of North Dakota’s chief executive. Burgum made the announcement in a video message released on Wednesday.
Miller is battling fellow Republican U.S Representative Kelly Armstrong and plans to run in the primary election even if she does not win the GOP party endorsement in April.
