A fatal fire in Alexandria (MN) is under investigation. Fire crews responded to the burning home around 6:30 Wednesday morning to find six people trapped inside. One adult male was deceased and five other people were transported to the hospital. Three of the individuals were later airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center. Two law enforcement officials were also injured during the rescue effort and were treated and released. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s office is assisting in determine the cause of the fire.
