By Doug Barrett Feb 14, 2024 | 8:23 AM

Mixed news on the sexually transmitted infection front for North Dakota in 2023. State health officials say on a positive note gonorrhea and chlamydia cases were down 26% and 9.9% respectively. On the flip side North Dakota syphilis cases followed a nationwide trend and climbed 52.7% last year.

STI Director Lindsey VanderBusch says a relatively new feature being offered by the department is a test collection program that can be delivered directly to your home.

The kits are available by going the Health and Human services website.
