Thursday’s wintry mix resulted in a late start for students at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. The bus from the GFAFB to Central High School ran two hours late. Emerado schools delayed their opening for two hours. Mayville State University closed the campus until 10:00 a.m.

The National Weather Service office in Grand Forks measured 1.1 inches of new snow. The weekend should be quiet with a slight chance of snow come Monday.
