A meeting of the Public Safety and Infrastructure Committee meeting did not reach a recommendation on what should be done with the Grand Forks County Parking Ramp.
There was agreement on a need to keep the parking ramp viable…but there are still too many questions of who would control the ramp… the city or the county.
The county would look to budget $3 million in maintenance over 20 years.
Jay Kleven from AE2S advised the panel that work on the ramp could be done this summer.
Commissioner Mark Rustad asked for a plan that could set the county up for future success.
The parking ramp will be discussed at the February 6 meeting of the Grand Forks County Commission.
