After 8,000 name submissions the Minnesota Department of Transportation today (Tuesday) announced the top eight vote getters of the states’ name a snowplow contest.
The top ranked name Taylor Drift will represent District 2 in northwest Minnesota. A total of 32,588 unique votes were cast in the competition.
The other top ranked names include:
Clark W. Blizzwald
Dolly Plowton
Waipahinte (Dakota word for snowplow)
Beyonsleigh
You’re Killing Me Squalls
Fast and Furious
Barbie’s Dream Plow
This is the fourth year of the “Name a Snowplow” contest.
