The North Dakota Patrol is investigating a seven-vehicle crash in Mountrail County. Authorities say a truck pulling an empty sandbox trailer was hit as it attempted to cross Highway 2 west of Ross (ND) on Thursday. There was heavy fog and reduced visibility at the time of the accident. As the truck driver attempted to move to a safer location five more vehicles became involved in the crash. The NDHP says they are working to determine the extent of injuries. No other details were released.
