Mr. Wonderful speaks and tours UND, HIVE

(KNOX) –

Businessman, investor and “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary, also known as “Mr. Wonderful,” sat down for a fireside chat Friday afternoon with UND President Andrew Armacost in the Memorial Union Ballroom.

O’Leary, a world-renowned venture capitalist, businessman and TV personality… says he sees North Dakota as a global leader… and that Washington needs to see that North Dakota is a hub for future business growth.

O’Leary added North Dakota is one of a few states well positioned for developing AI technology because of its energy…fiber network…and pro-business stance.

O’Leary toured UND as well as Grand Sky and the HIVE in downtown Grand Forks.  O’Leary Ventures has secured the naming rights to a conference room in the building.

He also dropped the puck at UND Hockey’s matchup against the University of Denver tonight.
