A Jamestown (ND) woman entered a guilty plea Friday to a charge of murder in the death of a five month old baby.
The Foster County State’s Attorney says Patricia Wick was arrested nearly a year ago after an investigation by Carrington Police and the ND BCI. Court documents say that in September 2022 authorities responded to an in-home daycare on a report of an unresponsive baby. The child later died at a Fargo hospital.
Wick’s jury trial was scheduled to begin January 29th. She was also charged with child abuse and operating a child care without a license.
A sentencing date is pending.
