Minot Police Investigate Fatal Shooting (Update)

Update 6:00 AM Tuesday:

A shooting in southwest Minot has left one person dead.  

At about 8:45 PM on Sunday, officers were called to an apartment, where they found a 41-year-old Minot man deceased.  

Authorities say a 40-year-old Minot woman was transported to Trinity Hospital with unknown injuries.  

Police say the suspect, 39-year-old Daniel Breijo of Surrey, is being held at Ward County jail. He’s charged with one count of murder, and another count of attempted murder.

Police say Breijo and the victims knew each other.
