Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has ordered that all U-S and Minnesota flags at all state buildings fly at half-staff until sunset on Dec. 15th, in memory of 32-year-old Air Force Major Jeffrey Hoernemann of Andover.
Hoernemann and seven other airmen were killed in a Nov. 29th Osprey aircraft crash during a training mission off the coast of Japan.
Hoernemann was a CV-22 instructor pilot and officer in charge of training, assigned to Yokota Air Base in Japan.
