Epitome Energy officials continue to go down the checklist of items needed to bring a soybean crushing plant to Grand Forks.
On Tuesday the Grand Forks County Commission approved a letter in support of the city seeking state funding for needed infrastructure improvements. The transportation costs alone top $17.7 million dollars. The funding would fall under the North Dakota DOT’s Flexible Transportation Fund. The application does not commit any county funds towards the project. The deadline to apply is in December.
The cost of the soybean facility is estimated at $450 million dollars.
