
Authorities say a woman and her son were burned when a propane tank exploded in a cabin near Chisholm (MN).
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s office says it happened around 10:45 Sunday morning. Deputies responded to a cabin fire.
According to investigators… a 20-pound propane tank had been attached to a heater in the cabin.
A 37-year-old woman and her 12-year-old son were inside. Both received burns over large portions of their bodies, but were able to walk to a neighbor’s home and wait for help.
The mother and son were transported by ambulance to a Hibbing Hospital.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
