The National Weather Service says Grand Forks picked up 5.8 inches of snow from the first winter storm of the season (as of 7 AM today).
Below-normal cold temperatures are expected to follow into next week.

8-and-a-half inches east of Grafton…
8-and-a-half inches at Cando….
7-and-a-half inches in Walhalla….
6 inches near Tabor (MN)…
4-and-a-half inches south-southeast of East Grand Forks…
4 inches in the Argyle area.
In western North Dakota: 14 inches at Washburn and a foot in Dickinson.

The National Weather Service says Grand Forks picked up 5.8 inches of snow from the first winter storm of the season (7am reading). Below-normal cold temperatures are expected to follow into next week.
Snow totals vary from less than an inch in Fargo to 14 inches at Washburn and a foot in Dickinson.
Several school districts in the region starting two hours late this morning – including East Grand Forks and Nathan Twining on the GFAFB.
Grand Forks Cities Area Transit bus service was delayed until 7:30 am this morning due to the weather.
