A shooting in Fargo has left a 28-year old woman hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police were dispatched to the downtown area on a report of shots fired at approximately 1:30 this morning (Wednesday). Officers found the victim with gunshot wounds in an apartment.
Police arrested 30-year old Kyle Ochoa. Officers located Ochoa outside of the apartment building and took him into custody without incident. He is being held at the Cass County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Ochoa and the victim were acquaintances. Police say there is no know threat to the public.
