Doug Burgum says he has met the donor qualification requirement needed to participate in the next GOP presidential debate.
The Republican National Committee requirements for the third debate include 70,000 unique donors and 4% support in one national poll and two different early state polls.
Burgum’s campaign says he has received contributions from over 70,000 individual donors, including more than 200 from 20 different states. Burgum would be the 5th candidate to meet the RNC’s requirements. Polling numbers remain a question mark for the North Dakota governor.
The debate will be held in Miami on November 8.
