ND DOCR seeks new director

Wanted: A new director for the North Dakota Department of Corrections. Governor Doug Burgum has announced that current boss Dave Krabbenhoft will retire at the end of the year.

Krabbenhoft has served as director since March 2021. The DOCR director oversees some 930 employees with a two-year budget of $446 million dollars.

Krabbenhoft has served state government since 1985 previously working for the State Auditor’s Office…Department of Public Instruction…and Office of Management and Budget.
