Valley City police are looking for a man who fled from authorities at a high rate of speed – not once but twice.
Authorities were called to the Grand Stay Motel on a complaint of a squatter staying in one of the rooms. When police arrived the suspect fled on foot and got into a pickup. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle as it entered I-94…but terminated the pursuit for safety reasons. A short time later a second traffic stop was called off due to the high rate of speed.
Authorities have released surveillance pictures of the suspect and vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the law enforcement.
